Yoga Classes - Wednesday nights
Yoga and mindfulness can help anyone improve body awareness and mental focus. Meditation and breathing techniques bring calm and self-awareness.
My philosophy regarding yoga is that it should be accessible to everybody. Every pose can be adapted, students will find their own expression of poses that challenge them without strain. I believe in careful transitions that encourage body awareness. I want to help my students find balance and peace. I believe this will lead to a calm, centered approach not only in the class but in life.
Music is integral to my classes. I love to research and create the right playlist that will establish the tone of the class. I select specific songs designed to inspire, motivate or enable introspection. I have additional training in adapted and restorative yoga.
The class is one hour in length which allows for a short meditation, pranayama, Hatha yoga with some kundalini inspired movement and Shavasana ( deep relaxation )
