RESTORATIVE YOGA
During the winter months our bodies naturally slow down. The restorative yoga practice allows the nervous system to release deeply held tensions from the body.
The begining of the class will follow a Hatha practice to warm the body and help connect us to our body and breath. Then we will move into two or three restorative poses where we allow the pose to come to us. Using blankets, bolsters and other props we can fully rest and relax into a pose.
These are essential practices for daily living and optimal well-being. Restorative yoga and mindful living are necessities. These practices support our lives by releasing stress and encouraging connection to our inner world.
